Setup Guide

Follow these steps to install and configure Invisible Interview for invisible operation

Step 1: Download Invisible Interview

Download the latest version of Invisible Interview for macOS

Tips:

  • Make sure you download from the official website only
  • The file should be named InvisibleInterview.dmg
  • File size should be approximately 150MB

Step 2: Install the Application

Open the downloaded DMG file and drag Invisible Interview to your Applications folder

Terminal Commands:

open ~/Downloads/InvisibleInterview.dmg
cp -R /Volumes/InvisibleInterview/InvisibleInterview.app /Applications/

Tips:

  • You may need to enter your system password
  • If you see a security warning, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy
  • Click "Open Anyway" to proceed with installation

Step 3: Grant Necessary Permissions

Invisible Interview needs certain permissions to work invisibly

These permissions are crucial for the invisibility features to work properly

Tips:

  • Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy
  • Grant Accessibility permissions when prompted
  • Allow Screen Recording for overlay features
  • Enable Input Monitoring for keyboard shortcuts

Step 4: Configure Invisibility Settings

Set up the stealth mode to ensure Invisible Interview remains undetectable

Terminal Commands:

defaults write com.invisibleinterview.app StealthMode -bool true
defaults write com.invisibleinterview.app HideFromDock -bool true
defaults write com.invisibleinterview.app DisableScreenshots -bool true

Tips:

  • These settings prevent the app from appearing in screenshots
  • The app won't show in the Dock or App Switcher
  • Use the menu bar icon or keyboard shortcuts to access

Step 5: First Launch and Login

Launch Invisible Interview and sign in with your account

Terminal Commands:

open -a "Invisible Interview"
# Or use Spotlight: Cmd+Space and type "Invisible Interview"

Tips:

  • The app will start in invisible mode by default
  • Use Cmd+Shift+C to toggle the overlay
  • Sign in with your email or Google account
